Kenyan music industry is growing fast and last year was a great year for artists. New creative talents produced dope music, from Frasha to Mercy Masika, we saw acts like Sauti sol being nominated to various international awards. This list is not a rank. From my sources considering lyrical skills, creativity, branding and street credibility the following artists are going to take Kenya to another level
1. king kaka
2015 was a great year for king kaka, He made only hits collaborating with other artists like rich mavoko, amos and josh. Apart from music kaka also own a clothing line and a record label.

2. Octopizzo This guy, being considered among Africa’s top, deserves to top the list., he
has been able to brand himself as the ultimate hustler. He has
positioned himself for international attention through his partnership
with UN-related organizations. He is signed to Germany-based Out Here
Records and lately left for a Europe tour. Octo has been doing big things and he is destined for the best internationally.

3. Khaligraph He started practicing rapping in the house while at the
same time working as a club bouncer. Khaligraph is one of the most
versatile rappers in Kenya. He can rap slowly, fast, in ragga, change
the flow all in one verse. Khaligraph did quite well in 2015 and nothing is going to stop him in 2016
